Job Description

£28.00- 32 per hr PAYE

Mental health practitioners/ nurses- not prescribers.
Safeguarding level 3, have experience around trauma- Someone with prison experience could also work.
1-2days a week over a 12 week period. Ideally, 2 people, 1 day a week block bookings over the 12 weeks.
Will work alongside the trainers delivering the project. Aid in breathing exercises after the sessions and signpost to mental health agencies where required.
If an individual needs a conversation or is experiencing the trauma, they would also manage this appropriately.
They will also undergo training for the role and be supported by the delivery partners
Preventative psychoeducational group programme designed specifically for asylum seekers and refugees.
Delivered in participants’ native languages, the programme aims to enhance mental health and wellbeing, support social and cultural integration, empower individuals to build a future in their new community, and increase their sense of control.
