Job Description
Role: Residential Care Home Manager
Location: North West London
Salary: £40,000 – £45,000
Hours: Monday to Friday 40hrs
Coben Healthcare are working with a boutique care home provider who have exciting expansion plans and as part of those plans they are investing in exceptional Managers for their residential home in the North West London area.
As a Residential Care Home Manager of a bespoke home, you will oversee the daily operations of the home. As a regulated business, they expect the candidate to be registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC), and be familiar with all the relevant legislation and regulations. You will be responsible for ensuring that the home provides high-quality care and support to their residents, whilst meeting financial targets and maintaining full occupancy.
You will be supported externally by dedicated Operations and Central teams, and within the home you will have the support of a Deputy Manager and Administrator, as well as Hospitality and Housekeeping teams. These teams will collaborate with you to ensure smooth operations and exceptional care for the residents.
Skill Requirements
Previous experience managing a nursing or residential home.
A strong working knowledge of CQC standards with a proven record of working towards achieving Outstanding ratings.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to maintain effective working relationships with internal and external professionals, families, and visitors.
A proven track record of marketing and business skills within the private care sector, running a commercially successful care home.
Enthusiasm and passion for developing high levels of person-centred care.
Ability to actively participate in the growth and development of the care service
