As a Recruitment consultant you will be responsible for attracting candidates for jobs and matching them to temporary positions with client companies in both in hours and out of hours services.
You will have the ability to build positive relationships in order to gain a better understanding of your clients’ recruitment needs and requirements.
You will attract candidates through advertising, referrals and working through our existing database, run compliance checks and match their availability to client requirements to increase the profitability of our business.

Responsibilities
As a recruitment consultant, you’re the vital link between clients , our account managers and candidates. The role is demanding and diverse. It involves:
Consistent contact building and developing positive relationships with your candidates
Developing a good understanding of clients, their requirements, what they do and what they need, their work culture and environment
Identifying and approaching suitable candidates who may already be in work
Using candidate databases to match the right person to the client’s vacancy
Requesting references and checking the compliance of applicants before submitting their details to the client
Briefing the candidate about the responsibilities, salary and benefits of their locums.
Supporting the compliance team in preparing CVs and documents to forward to clients
Informing candidates about bookings, ensuring that all confirmation paperwork is both timely and accurate
Negotiating pay rates and finalising arrangements between clients and candidates
Working to exceed set KPI targets that may relate to the number of candidates placed, number of referrals, new candidates booked and the number of candidates approved in our out of hours services.
Working as part of our on call team on a rota to ensure that we deliver an excellent 7 day service
