Job Description

Deputy Manager – Residential Childcare

Contract Type: Permanent, Full-Time

Salary: £36,270 per annum

Location: Castleford, West Yorkshire

Working Hours:

46.5 hours per week

Schedule: 3 shifts from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, plus 1 shift of 24 hours, including a sleep-in.

About the Role:

We are currently seeking a dedicated Deputy Manager for a residential childcare setting in Castleford. This role involves supporting the management team in providing high-quality care to young people aged 8-18 who have experienced significant challenges and trauma. The Deputy Manager will help ensure a safe, nurturing, and developmental environment for the young people, while also contributing to the professional growth and support of the care team.

Experience & Qualifications:

Minimum 2 years of experience in residential childcare or a related field, with some supervisory or management experience.
Level 3/4 Diploma in Children and Young People Workforce or equivalent (preferred).
Full UK driving license is essential
