Job Description

Position: REGISTERED MANAGER – CHILDREN’S HOME – EBD
Location: LEEDS
Salary: c£55K PER ANNUM – NEGOTIABLE DEPENDENT ON EXPERIENCE
Hours: FULL TIME
Coben Healthcare are delighted to be partnering with a dynamic and innovative care provider in their search for Registered Managers – Children’s Services and Supported Living Managers across the UK.
For the EBD Children’s Registered Manager roles in Birmingham, the successful candidate will be overseeing the day to day running and operations of a solo bed home
Job Requirements:
· Provide strong leadership, direction and guidance to a dedicated care team, promoting a positive and inclusive working culture
· Manage residential staff team, including Deputies, Team Leaders and Support Workers
· Develop and implement care plans, tailoring them to meet individual needs and preferences
· Ensure compliance with Company, Children’s Homes Regulations & OFSTED, standards & policies
· Developing effective relationships with key stakeholders including Local Authorities and Care Quality Groups
· Maintain accurate records and documentation, including individual care plans, risk assessments and incident reports
· Coordinate holistic support for the children and young people and promote an environment of continuous improvement to enhance the quality of care provided
Skills / Qualifications:
2+ years experience of managing a Children’s Home / Service
Level 3 Children’s Residential Care
Sound knowledge of OFSTED legislation, regulations and best practices in children’s residential care services
Effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships with children, families and external stakeholders.
Dedicated and inspiring, with the ability to lead, motivate and develop staff
Committed to company values including purpose, accountability, empathy, community and excellence.
Benefits:
Salary up to £60000 per Annum – negotiable dependent upon experience
